Job Summary – Has significant responsibility for classroom operation including, planning, carrying out activities, maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent/teacher conferences, and supervision of classroom volunteers; may also supervise and/or mentor teacher(s) and teacher assistant(s) at a site; assumes classroom responsibilities in addition to supervisory, record keeping, and/or planning duties.
Requirement - Applicants must have good written and oral communication skills and experience working with 3 and 4-year-olds. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education; may also accept a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with 18 hours in early childhood education coursework. A valid driver’s license is required. Employment is dependent upon the results of a criminal background check.

Job Summary: Provides assistance in all areas regarding classroom operations, in order to ensure adherence to Head Start Performance Standards.
Rate of Pay: $10.91/hour

for Bus drivers in McDowell and Mingo Counties.
Job Summary: Provides scheduled transportation to Head Start parents and children to and from the center, on field trips and special activities. Drivers work in the center during non-driving hours, under the direction of the site supervisor. Drivers must observe all the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Safety Handbook; must have a working knowledge of Head Start and preschool children; must possess the ability to communicate
with Head Start children, parents, and staff.
Education: High School Diploma or GED. CDL with Passenger and S Endorsements.
Experience: Prior bus driving experience preferred.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday; 7 am – 4 pm
