Supportive Services for Veteran's Families (SSVF)

The Supportive Services for Veterans’ Families (SSVF) grant provides supportive services to very low-income Veterans’ families.  
The services are for Veterans’ families who are
1) Residing in permanent housing, 
2) Homeless and scheduled to become residents of permanent      
    housing within a specific time period, or 
3) Exiting permanent housing within a specific time period and 
    seeking other housing that is responsive to their needs.  

The funding is provided by the 
Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

The SSVF grant in West Virginia is administered by West Virginia Community Action Partnership and covers the entire state. Coalfield CAP administers this program in Calhoun, Clay, Kanawha, McDowell, Mingo and Roane counties.  For a complete list of service providers by county please use the link on our homepage to visit WVCAP’s website.
